I Love Memphis

Memphis is a city on the Mississippi River in southwest Tennessee, acclaimed for the compelling strains of blues, soul, and rock ‘n’ roll that started there. Elvis Presley “the King”, B.B. King and Johnny Cash recorded albums at the legendary Sun Studio, and Presley’s Graceland mansion is a must-see attraction. Other music points of interest include the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum, Blues Hall of Fame and Stax Museum of American Soul Music.

Visit the Beale Street, one of the most iconic streets in America. Three blocks of nightclubs, restaurants, and shops in the heart of downtown Memphis. The Beale Street Entertainment District is a melting pot of delta blues, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, R&B and gospel. Once a year in May, Memphis will be flocked by thousands and thousands of visitors coming all over from in state and neighboring states to get a glimpse of the music festivities citywide known as Memphis in May.

Memphis is home to more than 100 barbecue restaurants. You will find mouthwatering barbecue so tasty that will turn your head upside down and soul food that is made with so much love, but Memphis is so much more for foodie lovers. There’s authentic Italian, Mexican cuisines, burger joints, Southern-style soul food, award-winning chefs, breweries, bars, and local diners serving American classics.

Regardless how you spell it or when you visit, you’re sure to have a fantastic time in the heart of Downtown Memphis.
