Been to Penang countless times and finally decided to try the Penang Road Famous Teochew Cendol after reading reviews about this place. We got there around noon and to my surprise there was not even a line. We ordered a bowl of Cendol,green looking pandan-flavored like jelly, red kidney beans floating on a bed of coconut milk, shaved ice, and sweetness of palm sugar. Not spectacular in an overwhelming sense but provide a much needed refreshing remedy for a sunny day. Happy traveling!
